Journey

On Tuesday I went back to the airport and wanted to pick up my passport which they kept to make sure I will come back. But it turned out that another officer didn’t see a problem with me coming into the country. So she allowed me the entry and I could stay!!!
She booked a flight to Kamloops for me for the same night. So only one and a half hours before I would have gone back my plans changed again. This time for the better.
I was so happy I even burst into tears. All the tension of the last days broke over me. Of course I was super happy that my time in Canada was not over yet. But I have already made new plans, visiting my relatives in Germany. And again I had to let go of them.
I guess this is what I learned from this whole situation. Don’t be sad for too long if something doesn’t work out the way you want it. Then it’s just not meant to be. I mean, look at what I have experienced in Calgary!? I wouldn’t have had all that if I had gone to Kamloops right away!
I flew to Kamloops and arrived in this super small airport. In the pictures you can see the cute tiny baggage carousel of Kamloops airport. And that is actually the whole airport
I stayed in an AirBnB for the night and the next morning Jamie, the manager of the place where I’m going picked me up. The 45 min drive up into the mountains was stunning. The nature changed from desert to mountain forest within only a few kilometers.
It was difficult to realize that I’m finally where I wanted to go. Finally I had reached Epona Rise Retreat Centre!
