But where am I now?
I’m still in Canada, still in BC. I’m in the south, in a little village called Ainsworth Hot Springs. I’m staying with Shannon (www.humminghorse.com). She is a
riding teacher and has two horses and two dogs. One of them reminds me a bit of our dog at home because she is also a real character and a bit more difficult. But that makes her interesting! I’m
helping to care for the animals (feeding, mucking out, grooming, training, ...) and do some little things around the house. Just everything they need a hand with. And right now I’m home
alone, sitting their house while they are gone for a few days. I feel very honored about all their trust!
Being here I learn a lot, about how to life on a property with horses, about cooking, about horses, about communication but also about life in general. It’s amazing
how much traveling teaches you. It’s things you can never learn when you always stay in your home town / home country.
