Hazelton Peak

Two days ago I went hiking. On a little hill. Just 1971 meters small...
They say the best views come after the hardest climb. That’s so true!
The day before I had laughed when I say a mosquito net jacket with a cover even for the head. That day I was so happy it exists and that I had it. There were tons of mosquitos. We had no trail, we went bush wracking.
But as soon as we left the tree line behind us, steep thick forest with lots of mosquitoes turned into dry open fields with wind to keep us cool from the sun and blow the bugs away. And the views... oh, how beautiful this world is!
Reaching the peak, reaching the top is a feeling I can hardly put into words. Standing up there, on the highest spot all around you, above the valley and all the mountains.
That is what I came to Canada for. That is what I am searching for on my travels. It is what defines FREEDOM for me. Freedom and being alive!
